Windproof Outdoor Blinds for Patio, Porch & Pergola
Strong wind is what ruins most outdoor blinds. The fabric flaps, the blind bangs against the post, and after one stormy season it looks tired. These zip track outdoor blinds solve that. The fabric edge is held inside a rail on each side, so the blind stays taut and quiet no matter what the weather does to your patio.
Made to measure, with motor or manual control, they turn an open porch or pergola into a space you can actually use on windy days, rainy afternoons and bright summer evenings.
Zip Track Design, Built for Wind
The zipper edge of the fabric runs inside an aluminum side track, with a buffer strip that keeps the mesh from catching. Because the fabric is locked in on both sides, it can't lift out of the rail or billow in gusts. That is the whole point of this system: wind goes around the blind, not through it.
Shade, Rain and Privacy in One Blind
A few things happen when you pull these blinds down. The sun stops cooking your outdoor furniture. Light rain rolls off instead of blowing into your seating area. And from the outside, the mesh cuts the view in, which matters if your patio faces a neighbor or the street. You keep your view out; they don't get much of a view in.

Motorized or Manual
Run it with a remote, or keep it simple with a hand-pulled spring system or a crank. The motorized version is worth considering for tall pergola sides or blinds you adjust often during the day. Frame colors come in grey, white, brown and black, so the track blends in with your posts, wall or ceiling.

Pick Your Fabric Openness
One blind, six fabric options. Openness is how much light and air the weave lets through, and the right one depends on where you sit and what you want:
- 1% – maximum privacy and shade, near-blackout
- 3% – strong shade with a faint outline of the view
- 5% – the popular middle ground for afternoon sun
- 10% – brighter, breezier, still cuts glare
- 40% – light filtering, mostly about wind protection
- Clear – a see-through panel for wind and rain, with the full view kept

Made to Measure, Front or Side Mount
Every blind is cut to your opening, so measure first and order second. Two mounting styles are available: front mount, where the track fixes onto the face of your structure, or side mount, where it runs along the inside of the posts. Side mount gives a cleaner look from the front; front mount is easier when the opening is already tight. Not sure which fits your setup? Send us your measurements and photos, and we'll confirm before anything goes into production.
