Windproof Outdoor Blinds for Patio, Porch & Pergola

Strong wind is what ruins most outdoor blinds. The fabric flaps, the blind bangs against the post, and after one stormy season it looks tired. These zip track outdoor blinds solve that. The fabric edge is held inside a rail on each side, so the blind stays taut and quiet no matter what the weather does to your patio.

Made to measure, with motor or manual control, they turn an open porch or pergola into a space you can actually use on windy days, rainy afternoons and bright summer evenings.

Zip Track Design, Built for Wind

The zipper edge of the fabric runs inside an aluminum side track, with a buffer strip that keeps the mesh from catching. Because the fabric is locked in on both sides, it can't lift out of the rail or billow in gusts. That is the whole point of this system: wind goes around the blind, not through it.

Shade, Rain and Privacy in One Blind

A few things happen when you pull these blinds down. The sun stops cooking your outdoor furniture. Light rain rolls off instead of blowing into your seating area. And from the outside, the mesh cuts the view in, which matters if your patio faces a neighbor or the street. You keep your view out; they don't get much of a view in.

Motorized or Manual

Run it with a remote, or keep it simple with a hand-pulled spring system or a crank. The motorized version is worth considering for tall pergola sides or blinds you adjust often during the day. Frame colors come in grey, white, brown and black, so the track blends in with your posts, wall or ceiling.

Pick Your Fabric Openness

One blind, six fabric options. Openness is how much light and air the weave lets through, and the right one depends on where you sit and what you want:

  • 1% – maximum privacy and shade, near-blackout
  • 3% – strong shade with a faint outline of the view
  • 5% – the popular middle ground for afternoon sun
  • 10% – brighter, breezier, still cuts glare
  • 40% – light filtering, mostly about wind protection
  • Clear – a see-through panel for wind and rain, with the full view kept

Made to Measure, Front or Side Mount

Every blind is cut to your opening, so measure first and order second. Two mounting styles are available: front mount, where the track fixes onto the face of your structure, or side mount, where it runs along the inside of the posts. Side mount gives a cleaner look from the front; front mount is easier when the opening is already tight. Not sure which fits your setup? Send us your measurements and photos, and we'll confirm before anything goes into production.

Frequently asked questions

Q: Are your outdoor blinds available in standard sizes or custom sizes?

A: Our outdoor blinds are custom-sized. Please contact our customer support team with your specific measurements, and we will custom-make them for you.

Q: How do I order the right size?

A: Please measure the width and height of the installation opening (taking measurements at the top, middle, and bottom) and use the smallest value for each. Provide these dimensions to us, and let us know whether you require a front-mount or side-mount configuration. Also, please inform us if the installation opening is not perfectly square, so that we can adjust the cutting dimensions accordingly.

Q: Will these blinds survive strong wind?

A: Yes, that is what the zip track system is designed for. With the fabric held in the side rails, the blind stays put in gusts that would push a regular roller blind straight out of its brackets.

Q: Can I still see my garden through the fabric?

A: With 5% openness and above, yes. The mesh reduces glare and heat while you keep the view. 1% and 3% are better if privacy matters more than the outlook.

Q: Do they keep the rain out?

A: They handle light to moderate rain well, especially with a slight pitch on installation so water runs off. For heavy storm rain, no outdoor blind is fully waterproof at every angle, but these hold up far better than loose-hanging shades.

Q: Is installation difficult?

A: Most customers with basic tools fit them in an afternoon. The tracks screw to the structure, the fabric clicks into the rails, and the bottom rail levels out. We will provide an installation guide video, and we're on hand if anything is unclear.

Q: How long does shipping take?

A: As outdoor blinds are large items, they can only be shipped via sea freight. The transit time is approximately 30–45 days, depending on your specific location.

Q: How much does shipping cost?

A: Shipping costs are calculated based on your specific delivery address and the total volume of your order. Please provide us with your order quantity and destination address, and our team will provide you with a precise shipping quote within 24 hours.

Q: Do you provide samples? How are the fees calculated?

A: Yes, we provide samples. The sample fee will be fully refunded from your total balance once you place an official bulk order.

Q: What payment methods do you accept?

A: We accept T/T (Bank Transfer), PayPal, and Credit Cards.

Q: Can custom-sized outdoor blinds be returned or exchanged?

A: Because custom outdoor blinds are tailored to your unique window dimensions and cannot be resold, we cannot accept returns or exchanges except for manufacturing defects or transit damage. Please double-check all measurement details in inches prior to confirming your order.
